CULTURE EXCHANGE PERFORMANCE ENTERTAINMENT
Universitas Ciputra partnering with Universitas International Batam and Tunku Abdul Rahman Univeristy College, Malaysia to hold a Winter School 2021 Program: Culture Exchange Performance Entertainment.
Experience the taste of beauty of Indonesian diverse culture. Instead of looking for differences, we look for similarities among Indonesian culture and cultures around the world. As a citizen of the world, we are stronger when we unite as one.
The Winter School 2021 Program is taught by Dr. Henry Susanto Pranoto, the program coordinator of School of Business and Management’s Performing Art and Sport Management. Dr. Henry received his Ph.D in music education in choral conducting from Florida State University, USA. He is also working with the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to develop music curriculum for Indonesian primary, secondary and high school.
Throughout this program, you will learn about various Indonesian culture, from music, dance, to culinary from natives and experts of each culture. At the end of the program, you will be able to present a culture entertainment performance idea in groups.
You will also participate in a special performance for the closing event. Don’t worry, you are not required to have specific musical or dancing skills. Anyone can and is welcomed to join the Winter School 2021 Program.
Feel the amazing cultural experience for 5 weeks from November 18th to December 17th, 2021.
